Annot8tor Tablet


Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subject are more challenging for those with visual impairment. With this in mind many tools exist to allow the transmission of visually oriented content to visually impaired users. The Annot8tor tablet was an attempt to design an embedded replacement for the Talking Tactile Tablet as something easy to use, robust, battery powered and not requiring a PC to operate. The initial concept was to sell the device but provide content free of charge and promote the dissemination of visually oriented material to the visually impaired community.
